Hubbard House Tours

While family members lived in the house and made changes until 1938, the Blue Earth County Historical Society, which operates the house, has returned the decor to its 1905 period. The Hubbard House is open regular hours for walk in visits. In addition, tours of 10 or more may be scheduled throughout the year. Advance registrations is required for group tours.

School Tours

The Blue Earth County Historical Society Museum is an amazing resource for local teachers. Our collections include artifacts, historical maps, diaries, journals, and historical photographs and all are incorporated into special programs designed just for schools. A Field Trip to the Museum helps students learn 'hands on" history through interactive experiences led by our staff and volunteers

Exhibit-based museum activities, and our outreach program History-To-Go in your classroom, are just a few of the ways we work with teachers and students. We are happy to discuss special programs and research projects to meet your curriculum and classroom needs.
