Young Historians is a hands-on history workshop for kids in grades 3-12 the 2nd Saturday of each month during the school year (May-September).  The program is free thanks to the generosity of the Grace Jefferson Education Fund.  Space is limited; pre-registration for each workshop is required.  For more information or to register, contact Jessica at 507-345-5566 or bechs@hickorytech.net.

Young Historians 2011-2012

They Chose Minnesota: Early Ethnic Groups in Blue Earth County

Young Historians (grades 3-6) will explore early ethnic groups among the first to call Minnesota and Blue Earth County home.  In addition, Junior Historians (grades 7-12) will work on family ethnic history projects.  (click on each topic after the workshop for updates and handouts)
