The R. D. Hubbard House now closed for the season!
The Historic Hubbard House will reopen for the season on in May. The Hubbard House survives in its original form, being built in 1871, added onto in 1888 and redecorated in 1905. The house reflects the 1905 time frame as you walk through on your guided tour. Admission is $ 5 per adult, $ 2 per child (5-17) Free amsission for BECHS members and children under the age of 5. Admission may be purchased in the Carriage House right next to the Hubbard House.

The Blue Earth County Historical Society (BECHS) has been collecting, preserving and presenting the history of Blue Earth County, Minnesota since 1901. The Society operates two facilities in Mankato, MN. The Heritage Center, located at 415 Cherry Street, Mankato, MN, houses the Museum Exhibit Gallery, Research Center, Museum Store and a community art gallery. The Historic R.D. Hubbard House is the 1905 home of local flour mill entrepreneur R.D. Hubbard and his family. The Heritage Center is open year round and the Hubbard House is open seasonally May through September.
