Friday, March 23, 2018 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Join us for an engaging evening starting with a 60s inspired meal at Pub 500 and then a participatory viewing of the locally-made film Man on a Mission at True Facade Pictures. Dress to impress; 1960s attire encouraged.
Sponsored by the Greater Mankato Rotary.
Miles West, a Mankato Lawyer, is recruited by the government to rescue the daughter of a scientist being held by the East Germans in the 1965 Cold War Thriller film Man on a Mission. The movie, funded by the Mankato Rotary Club, was filmed in and around Mankato, using local actors and production crew.

Love talking about history with fellow enthusiasts? Join us at the Blue Earth County Historical Society to do just that! This month's topic is My Neighborhood. Share your memories of growing up and plan on having a fun time reminiscing! Refreshments provided.
Saturday, April 14, 2018 - 10:00am to 12:00pm
This year's theme is "Travels Through Time." Each month participants will explore technology, fashion, food, war and much more to see how times have changed through the 19th and 20th centuries. This month's topic will be "The 1990s - Digital Age."

Join us for a Kid's Stained Glass workshop at the Blue Earth County Historical Society! Visit the Museum and be inspired to create a panel for a stained glass installation in the Discovery Lab. Explore the historical importance and meaning in the use of stained glass through a variety of media. This is an ongoing workshop that will take place each month after Young Historians.
The workshop is free, admission to the museum is $7/adults, $3/children 5-17, BECHS Members are free.

Bring your lunch and learn a bit of history! This month, Mark Halverson and guests will present "Dead Air: Please Stand By" a program that once ran on KTV, now CCTV. Coffee and water provided.
Saturday, April 21, 2018 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Oral histories can be a great way to learn more about your family's history. Through this class, learn more about conducting oral histories as well as some questions to ask.
The first hour of the class will be a presention, followed by time to explore the Research Center to see what resources are available at BECHS.
Admission is $10/adults, $7/BECHS Members
